A light-hearted project in collaboration with my husband that pushes the limits of our cooking, gardening and food-sourcing skills, thereby requiring us to engage more fully in the food we eat. Our challenge: to make every recipe in Yotam Ottolenghi's Plenty--chosen for my vegetarian leanings and our shared fondness for Middle Eastern cooking (few people know I spent three years living in the region). Far from being experts, nothing is smooth about this adventure.
