As one half of Shop Saturday, JARDÍN 14 showcases cross-cultural vintage and artisanal goods, with a focus on Mexican design. The company highlights products that interpret traditional materials in new ways, working with designers and communities around the world who are re-imagining handmade techniques for today's lifestyle. Shown alongside select vintage pieces, both parts of the collection speak to the past while working seamlessly with design of the present.
JARDÍN 14 translates as "garden 14" in reference to the private showroom space, which is entered through a hidden patio. It is a nod to the indoor-outdoor lifestyle of Southern California and a play on founder Emily Fox's former family address in Mexico City--a space whose "Mexican Modernist" aesthetic has inspired the company's approach to styling multi-ethnic alongside of mid-century finds.
Emily brings to JARDÍN 14 nearly a decade of experience merchandising, marketing and buying for the arts. She has a history of launching consumer brands both in the US and internationally, with an emphasis on social media, content and strategy.
